تصريح بخصوص منع وفد جبهة السلام والحرية من دخول إقليم كردستان

ضمن سلسلة الممارسات اللا مسؤولة وعدم احترام الرأي الآخر التي تقوم به الإدارة الذاتية التابعة لحزب الاتحاد الديمقراطي PYD ، قامت إدارة معبر سيمالكا، التابعة لهم، بتاريخ الـ 5 تموز 2021، بمنع دخول أعضاء من الهيئة القيادية لجبهة السلام والحرية المقيمين في الداخل، المؤلف من ممثلين عن مكونات الجبهة (تيار الغد السوري، المجلس العربي في الجزيرة والفرات، المنظمة الآثورية الديمقراطية، المجلس الوطني الكردي في سوريا)، دون اعطاء أي مبررات أو أسباب قانونية.

والجدير بالذكر، أن الوفد كان متوجهاً إلى الإقليم للانضمام إلى الاجتماع الاعتيادي المزمع عقده بالتزامن مع الذكرى السنوية الأولى لتأسيس الجبهة، بحضور السيد رئيس الجبهة، وأعضاء الهيئة القيادية الذين وصلوا إقليم كردستان قادمين من الخارج.

إننا في جبهة السلام والحرية ندين هذا الإجراء ونعتبره تعسفيا، يهدف إلى إلغاء الحياة السياسية، ويندرج تحت سياسة القمع وتكميم الأفواه والتضييق على الحريات، ويخالف أبسط قواعد حق ممارسة العمل التنظيمي والسياسي في الوقت الذي تدعي فيه الإدارة الذاتية ممارسة الديمقراطية وإعطاء مساحة من الحرية، وهذا ما يخالفه كل الإجراءات التي تمارسها على الأرض، ونضع هذه الممارسات برسم التحالف الدولي بقيادة الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، وكذلك الاتحاد الأوروبي والأمم المتحدة.

وإننا في جبهة السلام والحرية نؤكد بأننا مستمرون بعملنا السياسي رغم كل الإجراءات المتكررة من منع وتهديد واعتقال، لأننا متمسكون بنهجنا المبني على الحرية والديمقراطية والعمل السياسي- رغم تسلط السلاح- سواءً من النظام الذي خرج الشعب السوري بثورته لرفض تسلطه، أو من أي سلطة تحاول أن تكرر ما قام به النظام.

Statement about preventing the delegation of the Peace and Freedom Front from entering the Kurdistan Region

On July 5th, 2021, and as part of a series of irresponsible practices of disrespect for other opinions carried out by the Autonomous Administration of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), the PYD affiliated administration of the Semalka crossing prevented the entry of members of the leadership body of the Peace and Freedom Front residing inside Syria without giving any justifications or legal reasons. The members were representatives of the different components of the Front (the Syrian Tomorrow Movement, the Arab Council in the Jazira and the Euphrates, the Assyrian Democratic Organization, the Kurdish National Council in Syria).

It is worth noting that the delegation was heading to the region to join a meeting of the Front – to be held on its first anniversary– in the presence of the president of the Front, and members of the leadership body who arrived in the Kurdistan region from abroad.

We in the Peace and Freedom Front condemn this measure and consider it arbitrary, aimed at abolishing political life, and falling under the policy of repression, muzzling, and restricting freedoms. It violates the right to practice organizational and political work. This happens at a time when the Autonomous Administration claims to practice democracy, when in reality these procedures violate democratic rights.

We hereby inform the international coalition led by the United States of America as well as the European Union and the UN about these practices.

We at the Peace and Freedom Front affirm that we will continue our political work despite the repeated measures of prevention, threats, and arrests, because we adhere to our approach based on freedom, democracy, and political action – despite the domination of arms and whether from the regime which led to a revolution against its domination, or from any authority acting as the regime.
