A statement of the German Embassy in Ankara said that the delegation including Roth, Social Democrat Party deputies Johannes Kahrs, Verena Wohlleben, Iris Hoffmann and Christian Democrat Party deputy Will Zylajew would hold meetings in Turkish capital Ankara, southeastern Diyarbakir and Mardin provinces, and Istanbul.
The delegation will meet with Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul, Interior Minister Abdulkadir Aksu, and members of Turkish Parliamentary Turkish-German Friendship Group and human rights organizations.
The German delegation headed by Roth will meet with mayors, governors, representatives of human rights associations and Syriacs in Southeastern Anatolia Region and with members of Turkish Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (TUSIAD) and religious minorities in Istanbul.
