The ADO Media Bureau launches a journalist workshop in Qamishli


     



Qamishli, Syrian – ADO — The ADO Media Bureau launched a journalist workshop in the northeastern Syrian city of Qamishli on August 29th to develop the Media Bureau abilities .

The workshop which contained topics about written journalism , feature stories ,editing news , writing articles , and making reports and interviews , was held for separated four days starting from august 29th to September 6th .

More than 25 trainees , mostly university students , participated in this workshop and listened to the lecturer , the young Assyrian journalist Osama Edward Mousa who embodied the given information in practical examples and exercises .

Gabriel Moushe , the ADO political bureau chief , expressed his hope that the workshop will support the MB staff . Moushe added in a peach he made at the beginning of the workshop “media is one of the most important weapons that we should obtain , and our well educated youth can benefit from it” .

The workshop which was also attended by PB member Karam Dawli , is the first of its kind in the area , and it will be followed by many others that tackle political , cultural and Human Rights issues within the next few weeks .
