On the occasion of the election of His Holiness Mar Awa Royel, Bishop of California, as the 122nd Catholicos-Patriarch of the Holy Apostolic Catholic Assyrian Church of the East by the Holy Synod on the chair of Ctesiphon and Seleucia. The Assyrian Democratic Organization, leadership and members, extends its heartfelt congratulations to His Holiness, Patriarch Ma Awa, to the Fathers of the Holy Synod, to the sons of the Assyrian Church of the East, and to all the Assyrian people in the Homeland and abroad. Wishing him success in managing the Church and serving the people, and asking God to give him strength, health and wisdom to carry out the duties of the mission for which he was elected as the 122nd Catholic Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East in the world.
