An Assyrian Christian Woman, around 35-40 years-old, was killed this morning in the Iqtisadiyin Neighborhood of Mosul, which lies on the right bank of the Tigris River. The reason for her killing was that she did not wear a Hijab during the month of Ramadan. The Assyrian woman is a mother to three young children. Eyewitnesses mentioned that armed terrorists were waiting inside of a car and watching her without her knowledge and they fired heavily at her until she was dead.
Meanwhile, in the Mahalla area of Mosul, a male Assyrian pharmacist was abducted by a group of terrorists from his pharmacy in the Al-Sa’a Mahalla. The Assyrian Christian has been taken to an unknown location and no reasons have been given for the abduction.
