Syrian – ADO —<\/SPAN> The Assyrian Democratic Organization youth committees held their fifth annual meeting on Sunday October 5th 2008 , in the northern Syrian village of Watwetiye, 5 km west of Qamishli.
Started at 11 am with a national anthem , the meeting was attended by almost 200 ADO members and supporters from different ADO branches over the Jazeera province, mostly university students.
The meeting contained a variety of activities and discussions : political , cultural , historical , literature and entertainment.
The participants expressed their appreciation to the remarkable efforts and patronage offered by Assyrian Democratic Organization to develop the youth abilities.
They hoped during discussing the youth development mechanisms that the ADO will keep supporting and sponsoring the Assyrian youth activities.
The meeting was concluded by taking a memorial group photo by St. Sharbel’s church . It is worthy mentioning that the ADO youth committees held seven conferences or meetings during last ten years , the first two were tests.
chiefs of the ADO youth committees made their decision to hold their next conference in September Malikiya city.
