Johnny Messo, the President of the World Council of Arameans, spoke with Jamil Diarbakerli, the office manager of ADO in Istanbul, on June 2 in order to obtain information regarding the two abducted bishops Yohanna Ibrahim and Boulos Yazigi<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Diarbakerli acknowledged the hard work of the Syrian National Council headed by Abdulahad Steifo in trying to have the bishops released. During the conversation Diarbakerli revealed that there is a certain board within the Syrian opposition working for the bishops release and that the bishops are alive according to the latest information. <\/span><\/p>\n

Diarbakerli also described to Messo the latest developments in Syria and the work of the Assyrian Democratic Organisation as well as how the representatives of ADO in the Syrian opposition struggle for the bishops release. <\/span><\/p>\n

In the end of the conversation both Diarbakerli and Messi acknowledged the importance of being careful regarding the sensitive information in the issue of the bishops and not to exploit the issue for political gains<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
