About the assault on the headquarters of the Assyrian Democratic Organization (ADO) in the city of Qamishli

Thursday, February 27th, 2014, at 6:00 pm, the headquarters of the Assyrian Democratic Organization (ADO) in the city of Qamishli, Syria, was assaulted by a car carrying armed people (men and women).  The attackers were carrying assault rifles and grenades.  They threw insults and accusations to the Assyrian Democratic Organization and threatened that they would destroy the ADO headquarters.  Moreover, these people are well known in the city for their direct association with the governmentsecurity forces.

We, in the Assyrian Democratic Organization, while condemning this terrorist act, we hold the official authorities the responsibility for these acts and practices, and the results arising therefrom.
